UNI LAMP | CHOCOLATE

The Uni Lamp brings together light, material, and form in a sculptural composition that balances traditional ceramic techniques with contemporary tools. Its layered silhouette and woven ceramic pattern are conceived and digitally modeled by the artist, with every detail intentionally considered.

The lamp is then brought to life in ceramic clay through additive printing techniques. As each piece is printed, its form is closely monitored by the artist before being finished and refined by hand.

A custom, mold-fitted glass dome, hand-blown in New York, rests above the ceramic form to complete the piece. Subtle variations in tone, depth, and color are natural to the glassblowing process, making each lamp uniquely its own.

Every MIOS work is made to order. Variations in form, texture, glaze, and glass are embraced as part of the character of the piece. No two works are identical, and these distinctions are central to MIOS’s approach.
